Peter Wetzlar, currently at the University of Kentucky, has been competing at the Arena Pro Series event in Indianapolis.  On Thursday night he swam the 100 free swam a 50.90 in the heats and a 50.88 in the D final narrowly missing the World Champs B qualifying time of 50.64.  Last night, however, he did the 50m free and swam an amazing 23.02.  This was a new Zimbabwe record, the previous record holder was Chad Idensohn who held the record with a 23.14 (achieved at the Youth Olympics in 2014).  It is also a World Champs B Qualifying time.  Well done Peter.
