Previously I have mentioned that the Zimbabwean swimmers at American Universities are all beginning to take part in their Conferences (basically an Inter-schools meet).  Sean began his conference swimming for the Wildcats at the Mizzou Aquatic Centre in Colombia Missouri on the 16th with a 4 x 200 yd relay.  As lead off swimmer he posted one of the fastest ever lead off times with a 1.35.82, and followed this up with a 1.36.04 in the finals of the 200 yds final.  In addition, he added a 20.22 for the 50 yds free and with only the 100 yds to go, it has proved to be a great meet for Sean.  Sean will be starting the Long course season soon and will travel to South Africa for the SA Champs in Durban in April in an effort to make qualifying times for the Olympics.  Will update you on his progress as he swims.  If the other swimmers in the states would keep me posted on their conferences I will happily publish these results as well, we love hearing about our swimmers competing out of Zimbabwe as much as we enjoy the local results.
